 No words can describe the love that many single adults and married couples have for Dr. Lorne Shepherd. During his career in broadcasting, Lorne transitioned into the field of marriage and family enrichment, where he taught seminars across Canada for many years. In addition to teaching, Lorne also worked as a professional Christian counselor. 

He has authored three books: "Love Making His Way," "Sex: Never a Four-Letter Word," and "Raising Real Children in an Unreal World." The topics covered in his marriage seminars are essential for building healthy and strong marriages, such as "Getting Your Priorities Straight," "Marriage - God's Idea," "How to Love," "God's Plan for Our Sexuality," and "Communication." 

Dr. Shepherd will be coming out of retirement for one day to celebrate

 Plan & Prepare's 20th Anniversary with us. 

 Rev. Marlene M. MacKenzie values God's faithfulness deeply. One of her favorite songs is "He is Faithful... Faithful to Me" by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Her two favorite scripture verses are "what the enemy meant for bad, God turned it around for good" and "for I know the plans I have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future."  

Aside from being a Woman of God, she is grateful for her role as a wife to her best friend, Tom MacKenzie, and as a mom to a handsome and vivacious Thomas. Having overcome broken relationships, she has shared hope with those experiencing heartbreak. She has spoken at single adult and women’s conferences, as well as in church congregations. Additionally, she has been heard on the Missions' field in Ukraine, Armenia, and India. Marlene has formerly hosted the CTS Nite Lite Program and has been a guest on Joy 1250 and WDCX with Neil Boran. Her vision is for all to be filled with God’s love, experience His miraculous power of restoration, and celebrate an abundant life. Marlene is passionate about women’s ministry, single moms, and single adults. Her unique ability to recognize gifts and talents in others allows her to counsel, encourage, and motivate many to reach their potential. Marlene pastors alongside her husband at Hope Restored Brampton Ministries.

 On February 2024, Dr. Harrison delivered an impactful presentation on relationships for single adults. He will be returning with an encore presentation on October 6th.
